Rangkai-Rangkai Periuk (English)

Rangkai-Rangkai Periuk is one of the rare traditional game. This game is very interesting and fun!

LOCATION

At wide area, inside or outside the house.

TOOLS

Does not need any tools except players’ bodies parts.

PLAYER

Need at least 3 players for this game.

HOW TO PLAY

1. This game start with 2 player, A and B, where they need to tangle their hand onto each other.
2. Player A’s left hand will point to the front while his/her right hand will grab his/her left elbow. Simultaneously done player for player B also. Then, player A’s left hand will grab player B’s right elbow by using left hand and so for player B.
3. When player A and B ready, player C will sit on their (player A and B) hands.
4. All players need to sing along the song:
   

   Rangkai-rangkai periuk,
   Periuk dari Jawa,
   Sumbing sedikit terantuk tiang para,
   O … Jabut … pergi menjala,
   Dapat ikan patung seekor,
   Sembo ke api menyala,
   O … adik rumah kita nak runtuh,
   Cap … Cap … Ghrummmmmm …

5. Right after the singing, player A and B will release the tangle of their hands while act like a collapse house.

RULES

1. This game must be play not less than 3 players.
2. Players cannot release the tangle of their hand before the singing end.
3. This game can be repeat again and again.
